NMC fellow, Tristan Ahtone’s video report on the impact of migrant border deaths on tribal communities is now posted on the PBS Newshour website. The US installed vehicle border has long divided the Tehono O’odham nation’s tribal homeland. Nearly half of all migrant deaths in Arizona occur on the Tehono O’dham reservation.

Also, the PBS Vote 2008 Election Connection blog featured a piece by Adam Serwer, A Seat at the (Blogging) Table, on black bloggers at the Decmorcratic National Convention.
